What are collections?

Collections are groups of NFTs. Each collection has its own special place on the blockchain, called a smart contract, where the NFTs in that collection are kept safe. There's no limit to how many NFTs a collection can have.

On our platform, you can put your NFT in a default (shared) collection made by the platform, or you can create your own collections. You can make as many collections as you want, but keep in mind, you have to pay a small fee when you create each one.

In the default collection, anyone can add their NFTs. But if you create your own collection, only you can add NFTs to it. This way, there's proof on the blockchain that you own that collection.

Each collection has its own special page. The default collection's page is managed by the platform, but if you create your own collection, you can make the page look just the way you want.

When should I go for the default collection?

  • If you don't want to pay any fees for creating a collection. .
  • If you don't want to group specific NFTs separately.
  • If you don't mind not owning a special collection (smart contract) on the blockchain.
  • If you don't need a personalized page for your collection.

When should I create my own collection?

  • If you're okay with paying a fee to make a special collection. .
  • If you want to group specific NFTs into a unique collection.
  • If you want to own a special collection (smart contract) on the blockchain.
  • If you want a personalized page just for your collection of NFTs.

Create a Collection

To create a new collection, here's what you do:

  1. First, make sure you're logged into the platform.
  2. Then, click on the 'create' page in the navigation bar.
  3. On the create page, click on 'create collection.' A form will pop up where you can fill in details about your new collection.
  4. Just fill in the form - all the fields are easy to understand.
  5. Once you fill out the form, you need to send a transaction from your wallet to create the collection on the blockchain. Then, wait a few seconds for the transaction to process and our servers to check the information. If everything is correct, you'll be taken to your brand-new collection page.

Royalties

For both default and custom collections, the royalties set for NFTs are a fixed 10%.
